Did you ever dream of being a train driver when you were a small boy, well now you can live your dream with this special train driving experience on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway.
The Ecclesbourne Valley is situated in the Gentle Valley, Derbyshire. It stretches from the outskirts of North Derby to the beautiful town of Wirksworth, which is often described as the gateway to the Peak District.
Upon arrival at the train station you will be taught by an experienced train driver and shown how to operate the diesel train. After a break for lunch you will be able to take to the controls to drive the train along the beautiful countryside route. But be careful, don’t admire the rolling hills too much – remember you are the driver today!
